I am a sophomore Professional Writing and Rhetoric major at Baylor University with a minor in Film Theory and Criticism. I constructed this writing portfolio as the final project for my class PWR 3318 (Professional and Workplace Writing) to showcase my skills in literary analysis and my qualifications for reviewing books or films. The primary audience of my portfolio is targeted towards potential employers. My secondary audience is my PWR 3318 course instructor, Dr. Sara Dye, my peers, and anyone who happens upon my portfolio website. I structured my portfolio in three categories, which are academic writings that I wrote for a college course, film reviews that I wrote for the film course (FDM 1304 - Sight, Sound, and Motion) I took in the spring of 2023, and finally literary analyses works that I have written in recent years. I originally had created this résumé for my college applications, but I tailored it recently to focus on internships for reviewing books or films. The audience is potential employers and anyone looking to know more about me. I hope that this document showcases my skills, education, and qualifications for certain job positions.
